Cooperative Audit under CDA Rules in Region VIII

We serve cooperatives with audits, regulatory reporting, and governance support attuned to CDA requirements and member accountability.

What a cooperative audit involves

Cooperatives are governed by the Philippine Cooperative Code of 2008 (Republic Act No. 9520) and supervised by the Cooperative Development Authority. Each year a cooperative submits its Cooperative Annual Progress Report to the CDA together with audited financial statements, prepared under the Philippine Financial Reporting Framework for Cooperatives.

The audit covers members’ share capital and deposits, loans receivable and their allowance, the distribution of net surplus, and the statutory funds the Code requires: the reserve fund, the education and training fund, the community development fund and the optional fund.
